CIS
OF DETROIT SUCCESSES
In collaboration with more than 850 community organizations
and businesses, CIS of Detroit brings more than
$15 million worth of goods and services into Detroit
schools. Currently, more than 60 schools contract
with CIS to benefit their students and their students'
families. Partners and volunteers contribute more
than one million hours of services each year in
the schools.
CAPABILITIES
CIS is a 501(c)(3) Michigan nonprofit corporation
with a budget of more than $8 million in funds,
and $7 million in donated goods each year. The agency
has a stellar record of managing federal, state,
and city contracts; foundation and corporate grants;
and individual gifts. A full 90% of all funds directly
benefit children through the coordination of services
provided by the highly qualified staff team members.

to ensure that students successfully learn,
stay in school, and prepare for life.
